SCBWI Metro New York is a chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, a professional organization for writers and illustrators of children's books. SCBWI members who live in New York City, Long Island and parts of the counties directly north of New York City are automatically members of the Metro New York chapter.
