Regional
Advisor
Nancy is pursuing a career in children's book writing,
mainly focusing on middle grade fiction and non-fiction. She
has been a writer since grade school; however, as she saw
nothing romantic about being a starving author, she is also
a computer programmer, currently concentrating on
interactive Web site programming. Her education -- BA in
English and Computer Science (College of William and Mary,
1981), MA in Liberal Studies (New York University, Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences, 1996), and MPS in Interactive
Telecommunications (NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, 1998) --
reflects her keen interest in continuing to learn about new
and varied subjects. She's one of those "dangerous people"
who knows a little bit about a lot of things. Being a
Regional Advisor has furthered her education in children's
book writing, illustrating, and publishing, and her main
goal as RA is to help facilitate others on their own
educational journey into the children's book world.
