The Speakers Database lists members who are available for school and library visits and is part of the New England Connections Speakers Directory expanding possible speaking venues beyond New York into New England.

What does this database do?
The database lists published SCBWI PAL (Published and Listed) members who are authors or illustrators, and who are available for school and library visits. There will be no cost to the authors/illustrators listing with us, or to the schools and libraries receiving this information. Schools or libraries looking for speakers will be able to search for speakers by region. The database features log-on capabilities, so authors and illustrators can maintain their listing from their own home computer.

Are you looking for a speaker?
Please visit the
New York speakers list.

Do you want to be listed in the Speakers Database?
Go to the Connections Directory and scroll down to the link that reads "No account yet? Register." This link will take you to the submission form.

Who can put a listing up?
The directory is for published children's book authors and illustrators who are SCBWI members with PAL level of membership as defined here. Only SCBWI members in good standing may register. If you have been published, want to do school and library visits, and are willing to talk in at least one area of New England, such as Southern CT, this is a great place to post your contact and program information.
