Traci Van Wagoner joined SCBWI in 1986. In 2003, she and Kurt took on the difficult task of designing and producing the Metro New York Newsletter. Traci Van Wagoner and Kurt Keller live and work with their dog Jazper, in Manhattan, where they create toys, games and books with their design company Imagine That! Design. Traci studied illustration at Utah State University and met Kurt at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where they both earned Bachelor degrees in Toy Design. Shortly after graduation, they got married and have been endeavoring to create a better world for children ever since.
