Associate Regional Advisor Vivian Fernandez moved to New York in 2008 from Orlando, Florida, where she was Assistant Regional Advisor. She is a former teacher and now works for an educational vendor writing and editing classroom material. She loves reading urban fantasy, paranormal, and anything funny. When she's not reading about faeries, vampires, werewolves, and zombies, she's writing about them: her current work-in-progress is a young adult novel about shape-shifters set in rural-ish Florida. Vivian is happy to be a part of the SCBWI Metro NY chapter as Assistant Regional Advisor.
